Zeroshifting Transmission Mechanism Design
Mičola, Ivo ; Prokop, Aleš (referee) ; Svída, David (advisor)
This thesis deals with no delay gear shifting. The first part is devoted to theoretical introduction. The next part describes comprehensive approach to vehicle dynamics, the choice of gear ratios, the use of reverse engineering to model the interior of the gear housing and the actual structural design of the internal components and strength analysis. Moreover, this work should fill the gap in the available literature which is publicly accessible.
Early Detection of Disease Progression in Patients with Myelodysplastic Syndromes.
Kaisrlíková, Monika ; Beličková, Monika (advisor) ; Kalinová, Markéta (referee) ; Zemanová, Zuzana (referee)
Myelodysplastic syndromes (MDS) are a heterogeneous group of clonal hematopoietic disorders with a risk of transformation into acute myeloid leukemia (AML). The International Prognostic Scoring Systems integrate clinical data and cytogenetics to determine the risk of AML transformation for individual patients. Precise risk assessment is crucial for treatment decision- making. The aim of this thesis was to identify molecular markers for the early detection of disease progression in MDS patients. Using cDNA microarrays and next-generation sequencing, we targeted long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) and recurrently mutated genes in bone marrow cells. In addition, we focused on the identification of pathways related to the progression of MDS and understanding how the identified biomarkers participate. In the transcriptome study, we identify 4 candidate lncRNAs that may serve as prognostic biomarkers of the adverse course of MDS: H19, WT1-AS, TCL6, and LEF1-AS. Using various statistical approaches, we determined the level of H19 to be a strong independent prognostic marker. Furthermore, our data showed that disruption of transcriptional coregulation of the imprinting locus H19/IGF2 and miR-675, which directly regulates H19 and plays a role in tumorigenesis, accompanies disease progression. In the genomic study...
History of school physical education in Czech lands
Bigazová, Tereza ; Kašpar, Ladislav (advisor) ; Svobodová, Irena (referee)
In my diploma thesis I will deal with mapping the history of school physical education in Czech lands from established physical exercises in schools to present. The diploma thesis will be divided into individual time periods, in which I will explain how the school's physical education in the given period looked like and what it contained. The aim of the diploma thesis is to compare school physical education in different periods and to record gradual changes and development. KEYWORDS Physical education, school physical education, physical exercises, progression, history. Basic education, teacher, educational process
The principal themes and motifs in Rubén Darío's poetry
Grabec, Jan ; Vydrová, Hedvika (advisor) ; Poláková, Dora (referee)
The aim of this work is to capture and explain the motivic and thematic aspects of the poetical work of Rubén Dário. Rubén Darío has substantially contributed to the formation of the hispano-american modernism, that originated mainly from the literary movements of the 19th century in Europe. Hispano-american modernism has formally revived obsolete poetical structures of its time and has provided other Spanish speaking writers for enriching their writings with new elements. This work then concerns itself with the analysis of themes, which have appeared in his writings most frequently. The motivic part of his writings was, especially in his earliest writings, deeply influenced with mythology, mainly the classical and the germanic one, but also with oriental art, and often evoked the environment of aristocracy. His critics have often declared those motives to be exotic as they were not common in Darío's times. Finally the work is trying to capture the motivic and thematic shift between his fundamental writings, the Worldly hymns (Prosas profanas) and the Songs of Life and Hope (Cantos de vida y esperanza). In contrast to the Worldly hymns, the Songs of Life and Hope decline to existentialism.
Importance of Psychomotor Activities for Preschool Children
TRACHTOVÁ HADÁČKOVÁ, Olga
This work inquires into the benefits of psychomotoric activities for preschool children's development. The theoretical part consists of the description of preschool development period and of the psychomotor theory as well as of its practical application in this development period. The practical part is based on the suggested set of suitable activities which support physical, psychological and social development. These activities were examined in practice by means of a mixed research. Two methods were used - questioning (the questionnaire and the interview) and structured observing - and by means of them the specifics of these activities were found out and their influence on children's development was assessed.

The land rebels at the beginning of early modern times
VALIGOVÁ, Tereza
This bachelor work provides a comprehensive view of the land rebel on the basis of legal documents from the turn of the 14th and 15th century till 1627. Through the Land Code-book, royal decrees and concrete examples drawn from the noble correspondence from the end of the 15th century and the beginning of the 16th century, the work delimits the typology and the course of detriment. It defines the concrete land rebels, who were known throughout whole the Bohemian Kingdom. These were mainly Kryštof and Jindřich of Gutštejn, whose impact was extended to the foreign countries and thus they endangered the Bohemian Kingdom. Another one is the famous story of revenge to The Old Town of Prague from Jiřík Kopidlanský. The fight of estates between the nobility and cities was depicted on the background of this story.
Land grabbing and land prices since 1989
MELMEROVÁ, Anna
The bachelor's thesis is focused on mapping the decrease of agricultural and especially arable land in the Czech Republic since 1989, examining the changeover of agricultural land to built-up areas, mapping the development of charges for land grabbing, evaluation of legislative conditions for the land grabbing and evaluation of opportunities to affect the land grabbing by the administration. Two hypotheses have been formulated: 1. Construction is carried out mainly at the expense of arable land - data analysis of the conversion of arable land confirmed this hypothesis. 2. Increased charges for the land grabbing in 2011 have had an effect on soil loss - comparison charges for the land grabbing with the loss of agricultural land did not confirm this hypothesis.
Practical application of The Traveling Salesman problem
Hadraba, Martin ; Kalčevová, Jana (advisor) ; Šmídová, Milada (referee)
The Traveling Salesman problem (TSP) is one of the best known problems in combinatorial optimization. In this work I put mind to history and interest at first. In second part I mention economical and mathematical model with some theoretical methods of solving TSP. In third part I apply these methods to a concrete example. At the end I confront all used methods.
